Hypnotic though quick-cutting synths accompany a hazy vocal lead to start, with “Night Nearing” as a whole successfully merging spacey art-pop with hypnotic psych-pop. Vocals fade after 01:30 as an atmospheric bridge, set for a sci-fi film, impresses. An addictive melody and charming overall soundscape provide continuous enjoyment throughout “Night Nearing.”
