The suavely effective “Bad” is a new track from Cadeaux, the duo of Los Angeles natives Briana Lane (half of female indie duo Winslow) and Darian Zahedi (member of rock band CRX). A playful bass line and smatterings of synths appear alongside Lane’s genial vocals. Soft keys and chiming guitars flow gracefully as the vocals take a pause around the mid-point. Overall, the track casts a hypnotic spell with its lush pop adornments, particularly the bass and synths, and melodic vocal lead. “Bad” was mixed by Shane Stoneback (Vampire Weekend, Rostam, Cults).
