“Life After Death” marks the third track from The Brothers Gaston, comprised of brothers Zack and Ben Gaston. They show a suave sound fit for nighttime cruises, with twinkling synths and reverbed vocals leading the way. A mellower vein of Kavinsky comes to mind. The creative hip-hop twist around 01:45 plays well, succeeding amidst effervescent synths. The ensuing guitar work also plays with engaging qualities. “Life After Death” is a strong, atmospheric production with an alluring synthwave spirit.
