“One Eye” is a hazy, hypnotic delight from Samuel Campoli, a Brooklyn-based producer, composer, and songwriter. Soft, ethereal vocals and a gentle rhythm section are accompanied by psych-friendly guitar textures, assembling a psych-forward blend of rock and folk that resonates. A haunting synth pad backing around 02:30 adds to a ghostly soundscape, culminating shortly thereafter in effervescent, prancing keys and lush guitars. “One Eye” is a track that leaves a strong mark both aesthetically and melodically. Campoli is an artist I’m looking forward to following.
