We’re happy to premiere Caragold’s new track “Sunshine,” a suavely moving rocker with lovely brass adornments. The Portland, OR-based act show a hypnotic vein of psych-tinted rock throughout. This is especially prevalent during the “sunshine in my eyes,” dual-vocal approach, as the stirring brass begins in the track’s final minute. I’m anticipating the band’s debut album, the bulk of its demos created by founding member Ross Charland in a wildlife refuge in Glenwood, WA. “Sunshine” certainly shows a very capable act.
