“Mr. Roger” is an introspective, consuming slice of hip-hop from Yung Dank. Described the artist as “splurged out of my bitterness towards one motherfucker whose name I shall not speak of,” “Mr. Roger” succeeds in its overall aesthetic. A laid-back vocal delivery weaves around nostalgic brass and keys. A soulful vocal sample in the conclusion adds to the hypnotic feel. Despite being less than two minutes in length, “Mr. Roger” makes a strong impression.
