Todd Warner Moore – “Path Overgrown”

/

Already following up last April’s full-length Love and Change, Todd Warner Moore is back with another enjoyable full-length in Path Overgrown. The Kansas City-born singer/songwriter, now based in Hong Kong, continues to channel an enjoyable folk sound with a frolicking, mystical quality — noting an emphasis on “zen wisdom,” and “mindfulness-in-action.” The album’s opening, self-titled track achieves success with a lovely male-female vocal duet, alongside shimmering acoustical strumming and spurts of distant electric guitar. The “to return again,” refrain plays with convincing charm. Listeners can expect similar singer/songwriter exuberance with shining production throughout Path Overgrown.
