Thunderous guitars, both of the melodic lead and rhythmic muscle varieties, lead the charge on “Eat My Dust.” A track off Robertas Semeniukas’ recent album Backstage Stories, “Eat My Dust” channels a Steve Vai-esque virtuosity and sense of guitar-driven excitement. The album includes 20 tracks, with 12 being instrumental and 8 featuring vocals. “Eat My Dust” is of the instrumental variety, with 03:40 kicking off an impressively dexterous guitar-driven conclusion.
“As a musician and guitarist I used to play and record with the different bands and artists for many years,” Semeniukas says. “But deep inside I carried a passion and vision that I would record and perform as a solo artist. It took me many years to finally pursue recording a solo album which would have plenty of guitar compositions and my vocal could be heard. For this album I was inspired by my guitar heroes – Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Jeff Beck, Slash, Guns N’Roses, Queen, Metallica, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin and many others.”
