Tender pedal steel and soulful, soaring vocals lead the powerful “Indigo Night,” the first single from Credit Electric’s debut LP. Per the band, the track is “about a love that exists in hours of darkness.” “Indigo Night” reaches atmospheric heights in its final two minutes, with lush guitars and hypnotic percussion rounding out the track in beautiful form, as lingering vocals emit a haunting feel.
Credit Electric is led by the songwriting of Ryan LoPilato, who formed the band after meeting guitarist Cameron Iturri-Carpenter, musician and sound engineer Stephen Boyd, Kansas City-based musician Nathan Smith, and pedal steel player Evan Hiller. They released the Easy Moon EP earlier this year, following three EPs in 2018. Look out for their debut LP, which they recorded with producer Thom Monahan in San Francisco at Tiny Telephone and at Golden Void in Los Angeles, later this year.

Such an awesome song. That guitar riff and intro give me chills.
Great write-up as well. But, post the lyrics – please!
