xOxford – “Warm Bodies”

/

“Warm Bodies” is the latest from Colorado-based electro-pop duo xOxford, continuing the super-catchy sound in display with previously featured release “Be Yours.” The “tell me what you want, baby” vocal repetition in the chorus plays with replay-friendly appeal, with a well-paced bass line producing a lush feel amidst lively synth lines. Touting excellent production and an accessibly melodic feel, “Warm Bodies” is likely to shine a bright light on xOxford. Per the duo, the track is “a fun and funky dance pop groover about questioning the nature of a relationship but hoping for the best.” So far, xOxford has shown a clear capability for infectious, melodic pop successes.

“Warm Bodies” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of October 2019’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Catchy Electro and Synth-Pop.
