Maple & Beech – “Turn”

The elegant, sweeping “Turn” is a lush success from Maple & Beech, the project led by Minnesota producer Tyler Tholl, previously featured with tracks “Sand Sing” and “Cavers.” Off the project’s newly released self-titled album, “Turn” is “about looking forward and overcoming fear.” Tranquil synth pads and vocal layering adorns the track’s background to start, with Nicole Wilder’s crisp lead emerging shortly thereafter. “Turn” soars particularly in its final minute, where exulting vocals mesh with brass flourishes and lingering synth illumination for stellar results.
