“Compassion Isn’t Fashion Anymore” is a superbly catchy track from London band Talk Slow. The track emerges with whirring synths and a bouncy, infectious bass line, fading as Cristina Hart’s melodic vocals enter. Guitars and the hopping bass lead cohesively into a contagious chorus, repeating the track’s title over the prominent bass and synth-laden enthusiasm. Aesthetically, there’s a likeness to The 1975. Similar to that act, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Talk Slow rise very quickly over the next year.
