Independent label Burn Money Music shows its collaborative spirit with the release of “Bridge City Cypher,” which features Bocha, YoungShirtMayne, Danny Sky, and Donte Thomas — all talented figures in the Portland, OR hip-hop scene. “The session was fun,” Danny Sky told Vortex Magazine in the track’s premiere yesterday. “It felt like just some homies coming through just to kick it and [we] ended up making a cypher.” The track’s piano-laden beat provides a solid backbone for the various flows, with each of the MCs succeeding. Burn Money’s cyphers continue to be a fun showcase of the area’s hip-hop talents.
