Redwood – “March”

/

Developing with an engrossing melodic pull that touches on both rousing folk and atmospheric key work, “March” is a track from Redwood, a Belgian musical project led by frontman Marlon Sinnaeve. “March” is one of six tracks on the project’s EP, Metaxy. The track’s beginnings suggest a more electronic, spacey leaning — with a mellow trickling of keys adding to the serene vocals. Then, the involvement of stirring guitar work around the one-minute mark coincides with a clearer vocal delivery, showing a knack for consuming folk. These two atmospheres are juggled cohesively throughout, with the instrumental emphasis around the two-minute mark around throbbing synths and sporadic guitars playing with the culmination beautifully, as the vocals emerge thereafter for a climactic finale. “March” is a quality track from Redwood.
