Linda Gardens’ new track “Tubular Steel” impresses with a nocturnal, hypnotic soundscape and vocal presence that reminds somewhat of Kate Bush. Reserved verses find a haunting synth tone and buzzing bass-y push, while the chorus find an uptick in vocal effervescence alongside post-punk guitars. Filmed at Hart Bar in Brooklyn, and directed by Dan Foley, the track’s music video perfectly captures the track’s haunting nighttime feel. The track comes via Linda Gardens’ forthcoming EP Real Time, out this summer.
