“The One” is the fantastic debut single from Portland (OR) duo Modern Feelings. The track touts a bouncy, synth-forward pull that combines with jangly guitars and serene vocals — resulting in a sound that’s parts deeply nostalgic while also sounding fresh. Think TOPS with a bit of an electro-pop addition. Preceded by some more energetic guitar twangs, the synth-forward solo at 02:55 also captivates. This is a fully engaging track that we’re happy to premiere.
