Tranquil guitars and soulful vocals kick off “Bottom of the Tank” in enticing form. The stomping percussion and buzzing around 01:30 is well-done, with the soaring guitar at 01:37 reminding me fondly of A Perfect Circle. The track manages to seamlessly transition from lusher contemplation into this rockin’ feel — an accomplishment in less than two minutes time. “There’s nothing I see here,” eruption approaching the three-minute mark works just as well, and I’m also loving the emotive guitar work as the four-minute mark looms. This is a well-written and well-produced track.
