“Reading Wrong” is a bright psych-pop success from Indigo Bunting, who impressed with multiple tracks last year. This newly released effort combines contemporary, soaring indie-pop with charming psych-pop nostalgia, with shades of Brian Wilson in both the vocal melody reflections and general shining bustle. It’s a fantastic track, one that shows the group continuing to excel with very melodic, hypnotic songwriting. They also released the lush “Lavender Mountain,” which is equally successful in its swaying pop charm.
