Wonderluck are a duo churning out catchy songs with an emphasis on electro-pop, dipping into a funk-tinged ’70s allure with bouncy bass lines and quick guitar swipes, as is evident on the infectious new track “Orchid Rain.” The project started in Castro Valley, California, in 2016, the members having Dutch and American roots. Wonderluck describe the track as such: “[it] is about a childhood dream… flowers falling from the sky… hyper-sweetness rain… limitless. A place of joy where we go to to feel safe. As we move on to our next adventure of life the creator of this dream is asking us if we will remember Her.” The melody shines throughout with a captivating replay-ability, the funky bass line standing out particularly among the polished production.
