“Tell Me About It (Egodeath)” is the impressive debut release from Table Tennis Dreamer, a project based between Austin, TX and Chapel Hill, NC. The track was written and recorded in the artist’s van, the mobile studio wizardry commendable considering the track’s catchy, electro-pop polish. A funk-tinged bass line vibes with bouncy synths, producing a feel reminiscent of Hot Chip. The lively verses evolve into a super-catchy chorus, complete with fervent vocal layers – “so tell me ’bout it,” – that infectiously accompany the lead. This is a track that has me very excited for the project’s future.
