Sunnbrella produces lush lo-fi with shimmering guitar twangs and psych-friendly bouncy keys on new track “Outta Focus.” Written, recorded and produced by David Zbirka in his bedroom studio, “Outta Focus” reminds of a quainter Real Estate, the nonchalant vocal presence and hazy guitars leading a very pleasant aesthetic. The chorus, with the added guitar twang and key bounce, maintains a sense of cohesiveness while still departing distinctively enough from the verses. An excellent mixture of serenely melodic vocals, hazy guitars, and catchy keys, “Outta Focus” is a very enjoyable introduction for me to Sunnbrella.
