After impressing with the lush jangle of tracks “To Ur Self (LIE)” and “Si Te Vas“, Portland (OR) act BESOS is back with another entrancing success. “Sad Girl (Dreaming)” features lush, bilingual (Spanish, English) vocals alongside dreamy guitar tones, which in terms of progression resemble the nocturnal glow of Wild Nothing’s material. BESOS – the project of multi instrumentalist Alejandro Preciado, inspired by “Cumbia, Classic Mexican Films, Soul, Jazz and funk,” – continues to impress with each release.
