kayelaJ, Swiggle Mandela, Nick B, RC $pitta all show their chops on “Bridge City Cypher Episode 8”, a collaborative track from Portland record label, studio and hip-hop crew Burn Money Music. Their recurring Bridge City Cypher series is back with this effort, its eighth installment. It’s a great look at some of the Northwest’s rising emcees, with each alternating the lead alongside a murky, consuming backing — as the lyrics refer to topics like political partisanship and rising through the hip-hop game.
