Phileas Fogg’s “Will Never Be Played Again” is an enthralling psych-rocker, building from looming, haunting verses into an emotive chorus. An unsettling, yet intriguing atmosphere builds patiently. The dark expansion of vocals and guitars at 1:50 marks a striking shift, where creeping vocals ascend into a more anthemic form. The track serves as another examples of the UK singer/songwriter’s talent for both hypnotic soundscapes and convincing production, as evidenced previously on the track “Ready or Not“. I’m always anticipating new Phileas Fogg tracks at this point.

Wow! Fantastic production and great ideas
Reminds me of early Pink Floyd and such a brilliant capture of the late late 60’s early 70’s sounds. Not many are doing this anymore. what a shame.
