Morning Myth, the project of guitarist Ross King and singer Aimee Herbert-Smith, first impressed in March with the track “Murmur” — touting a captivating, lush sound that sounds weightless and dreamy, with a Mazzy Star-esque allure. Their newest – “Halo” – is even more resonating, a haunting success where Herbert-Smith’s croon builds into a procession of ghostly yearning, first starting around 01:15. King’s gently swaying guitars combine with Herbert-Smith’s vocals for intoxicating results, one that will pull in listeners with its atmosphere and ghostly allure. Look out for their Everything is a Photograph EP on June 4th.
