“On and On” is an effervescent new track from Makk, the project of German producer Philipp Makolies (Woods of Birnam, Polarkreis 18, Enno Bunger, Lestat Vermon). The track is the second of four tracks on Makk’s forthcoming EP Midlife Dreams out on May 11th. It’s apt that the track is releasing just as it’s getting warmer, as it touts a sort of sun-shining vibe reminiscent of former Swedish group Air France. The release sports a collection of classic synths – like Yamaha VSS-30, Tiracon 6V and Solina String Ensemble – though still touts a sleek, modern sound thanks to some glistening songwriting and production. “On and On” conjures visions of blue skies and springtime effervescence in its playfulness and general melodic enthusiasm.
