Dual, concurrent vocal layers exist amidst a dark, murmuring sound on Mouth of Ghosts’ new track “Tonight”, ascending into brighter crevices for the track’s chorus, glistening with guitars and emotion. The London act really show their knack for moody textures here, as well as their arsenal of lingering electronics and murmuring guitars. The group has been around for several years now, their second EP You Will Go Again From Me releasing in June 2013 and featuring the track “You Will Go”, which received airplay on BBC Radio 6 Introducing.
“Tonight” is the band’s first release this year. Per the group, an EP is also in the works.
