Richmond, Virginia-based Harvie Ashby showcases his multi-instrumental and self-production prowess on new track “Skeleton Bone Blues,” a charismatic rocker that reminds of Supergrass’ passionate vein of alt-rock. Ashby, who has been self-producing since 2011, grew up around music and picked up several instruments – guitars, drums, bass, and keys – throughout this time. “It’s not so much a creative statement to do it all on my own on record, more a move out of necessity to just get these songs out,” he explains. And in getting this out there, Ashby has firmly shown he is an act to keep an ear out for.
