Wilderness Shout is a brand new act out of Sydney, who vibe on soulful beats and soaring, melodic vocals that fit within an electronic/rock aesthetic. “For Another Night” is their debut single, an impressive display of a soundscape that alternates between dark intoxication and melodic effervescence. Clamorous percussion and audible screeching kick things off, along with the distant rumble of low-pitched vocals. The vocal emergence around the 45-second mark – smooth and engaging – kicks the track into more accessible form, with guitar trickles and amped-up vocals helping lead to the synth-laden bridge around 01:40. This is an impressive first showing from Wilderness Shout.
