Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter Moira Mack is an emerging artist who showcases a number of talents on new track “I Worry I Worry” from her entrancing, smoky vocals (think Janelle Monáe) to her ability as a songwriter, crafting a soulful and intoxicating soundscape with an expansively memorable hook. A brass-y adornment around 01:22 expands the sound even more, showing Mack’s jazz-infused, neo-soul sound as one with genuine insight and talent. One of the most impressive debuts I’ve heard all year, “I Worry I Worry” is a track Obscure Sound is thrilled to premiere.
