London five-piece Janus Key specialize in a bright, spacey vein of psych-rock. Their new track “Everyone and Run” was released on 8/8, self-produced by member Andrew Bastian in northeast London. The band takes pride in their DIY component, tackling everything from art and video shooting/editing to production and stage design. Beginning with an ’80s-esque synth stomp, the track quickly introduces a fluid psych-friendly guitar line and reverb-washed vocals. The chorus shimmers with added percussive anticipation and the continuous guitar buzz. It’s a solid effort for sure from this rising five-piece.
