BESOS – “To Ur Self (LIE)”

Portland-based BESOS captures a laid-back vein of sophisti-pop, relatively reminiscent of a subdued The Style Council, on new track “To Ur Self (LIE)”, a piece of melodic ear candy with jangly guitar shimmers and twinkling keys. The “I know / you know” hook, with its effervescent glow, is particularly effective. I’m excited to hear more from this elusive Portland-based project.
