Adam Winn produces a heartfelt vein of folk that appeals to the human connection, his intimate lyrics and vocal approach touching on the fragility of life. The native of Creston, BC picked up the bass guitar at age 11 and never looked back, taking up classical voice training at age 16. This musical experience melds with his love for storytelling on the recently released Adam Winn EP. EP cut “Burnout”, with an accompanying video directed by Jess Greene, nicely demonstrates what to expect. “‘Til these flames die down,” he concludes with, leading to an emotive alt-rock push around 03:20 following creaky folk processions.
