Hailing from New Zealand, Three Feathers is an act showing gripping, passionate songwriting on new track “Make It Good”, released on April 30th. A dual male-female vocal harmony rides smoothly throughout, alternating nonchalance during the crunchy and semi-bluesy verses and soaring, haunting transcendence during the bright chorus. The style reminds fondly of Timber Timbre, especially during the fantastic “no more” backing vocal croon around 02:35. It’s even better at 03:05, when the climactic push centers around this gorgeous dual-vocal section. “Make It Good” is an excellent track through-and-through from an act that’s poised to rise quickly.
