Based out of Toledo, Ohio, brothers Daniel and Joel Trzcinsk front dream-pop project Bliss Nova. Their debut EP, Do You Feel, was released in 2015 to acclaim, with comparisons then to the likes of Neon Indian, Toro y Moi, and Washed Out remaining relevant today, with the recent release of their new EP Light & Shadow on May 5th. “All That I’m Used To” is a particularly sensational track from the release. Similar to those aforementioned comparisons’ arsenals, there are hooks abound in a psych-friendly soundscape, with reverbed vocals, hypnotic keys, and satisfying production flourishes being constant. The chorus is particularly gripping, especially during its second go-round at 03:38 with the climactic percussive kick-in. It’s a gorgeous piece of music that will surely have many rushing to stream the rest of the EP, available below:
