French group BLVL’s new track “Internal Heights” expertly transitions between lush moments of patient pysch-pop and effervescent bursts of rock-led spaciousness, particularly at the 02:26 transition. From this moment, it’s difficult to resist the soaring beauty of the overall melody, as well as the consuming atmospheric development preceding it. It’s a dark and atmospheric piece that comes from a rising group whose first EP, Empire of Nights, will be out on April 28th. The track’s video, directed by KENDY TY, casts vibes of urban isolation that go well with the effort’s overall tone and vibe.
