“Kiss Me” is a wildly catchy track from Oslo-based power-poppers Shredz. The vocal enthusiasm, sharp and distinctive, reminds of early Elvis Costello — while the infectious chorus infuses surf-pop harmonics with fluid guitar work. “With this song we want to send this message to everyone alone who’s sitting it out because they’re afraid of what their friends will say: Get it on. Love is dirty, imperfect and in-the-moment.” says vocalist Tor Hansen. Fusing surf-rock successfully with colorful power-pop, “Kiss Me” is a quality showing from this exuberant quartet.
