Halifax-based group Loveland show off a suave funkiness on new track “Vanilla Vibrancy”, where vocalist Robert Loveless emits a playfully fluid high-pitched range that reminds of Ariel Pink’s excitable pop nature. The instrumental content fondly recalls fellow Canadian group TOPS, particularly the paced post-punk rhythms, nocturnal sporadic guitar lines, and well-constructed soundscape. It’s a very stellar new track from quite a promising act.
