Los Angeles-based folk/dream-pop act Hannah Telle produces an elegantly hypnotic sound on new track “Hollow Glow”, which is also the title of her first album, out September 21st. A native of Shelby, North Carolina, Telle moved to Los Angeles to study at USC with actress aspirations. She is best known for her role as the voice of Max Caulfield, the main character in the BAFTA award-winning video game ‘Life is Strange’. Telle learned how to play guitar for a film role, and fell in love with the musical process of playing and writing songs. Since then she has expanded her acting into music roles specifically, which judging by the talent shown on “Hollow Glow” is a great move. Tugging strings and a brisk acoustical melody complement her tranquil, angelic vocals with a gentle bliss, comparable to Marissa Nadler at points with her ghostly allure. It’s a very strong showing from an emerging artist on several fronts.
