I’ve already featured a bunch of Brandyn Burnette tracks – singles “Karma” and “State I’m In”, in addition to “Inner Child“.and “State I’m In” – though just realized I missed posting one of my favorites, “Closer”. While still showcasing the atmosphere-rich songwriting and production of Burnette, it’s one of the more upward and energetic efforts from the singer/songwriter. Specifically, this remix by Sean Turk adds an extra electro-pop tinge that breathes more life into an already-riveting success. Already featured on Spotify’s “Weekly Buzz” playlist, “Closer” is rightfully drawing a ton of listens. This site typically doesn’t cover remixes, but I’m very fond of the original and didn’t post that one yet, and this remix is killer, especially the effervescent chorus.
