“Busted Jeans” is a crisp new track from Jane’s Party, previously featured with the excellent tracks “Coming On Strong” and “Cigarette Buzz“. This one is the most summer-apt of the bunch, playing off wonderfully twangy guitar leads, surf-pop-inspired backing vocal harmonies, and lyrics that involve summer days (even as they “begin to get colder.”). Melodically delectable, this may be my favorite one yet from the very talented Toronto-based quartet.
