“Mind” from the mysterious act Paper Giants ambles like a surfer fresh off a long, successful day of riding the waves. The hazy lead riff punctuates through the drums and bass bringing light to a song that sounds like it’s already been baking in the sun for quite a few hours. While stoned-out surf rock has now been in vogue for a few years (Wavves, Best Coast), Paper Giants slows things down to appreciate the ocean view in front of them.
