Mansions on the Moon evoke a mysterious atmospheres in their name alone, and their music delivers the goods. This warm and gauzy electronic act constructs large spaces on “It’s Not Too Late”, a track that blends new-age whimsy with pulsating electro-pop anthemic appeal. Several layers of vocals combine for a spine-tingling impact, the delivery sitting somewhere between chillwave nonchalance and glitzy electronic power. The second track on their new Full Moon EP, “It’s Not Too Late” is a winner from a group attracting a boatload of attention, particularly from Pharrell Williams, who enjoyed Mansions on the Moon so much that he executive produced Mansions on the Moon’s previous effort, Lightyears.
