Let’s cut to the chase. You can stream Daft Punk’s new album, Random Access Memories, on iTunes by clicking here, and then allowing your browser to open up the iTunes application. From there, head to Daft Punk’s artist page, and you can listen to the legendary French electronic duo’s fourth album in full. At 74 minutes long, there’s a chock full of brand new material for fans to dig through. From the heart-thumping electro-rock opener “Give Life Back to Music” to the spacey arp-filled epic closer “Contact”, Random Access Memories is sure to be one of 2013’s most talked-about releases. Cameos are abound; names like Giorgio Moroder, Julian Casablancas, Panda Bear, Nile Rogers, and Paul Williams lend a hand. You gotta love Giorgio Moroder talking about how synthesizers mold “the sound of the future” on “Giorgio by Moroder”. There are plenty of novelty appearances, but judging from early listens it’s clear Daft Punk have maintained their idiosyncratic edge. We’ve already heard “Get Lucky“… now get ready for the rest.
