The exuberant synth-pop anthem “Indian Summer” comes courtesy of Norway’s Highasakite, who have attracted attention throughout Scandinavia for their soaring tunes. Pounding keys aid Ingrid Helene’s enthusiastic voice, compared by some to fellow Scandinavian Lykke Li, as a warbly synth-organ and clicking percussion. The straightforwardness of the track plays in its favor, as the emphasis on “I will run” is complemented by additional instrumentation each go-around, reaching a sort of majestic awe by its fade-out conclusion.
