After having impressed with the Twin Peaks-inspired EP The Black Lodge late last year, That Gum U Like is back with a new track in “Biography”. The husband-and-wife duo continue their murky, consuming soundscapes — which would feel right at home in Twin Peaks’ Roadhouse. Andressa D’s vocals – alternating seamlessly between lushness in the verses and punchiness in the hook – succeed, as does Fábio Popinigis’ colorful and pulsating production. Following the success of their single “Killer” – which was among the Top 10 tracks in the Hype Machine charts for a week – “Biography” is a stellar release from That Gum U Like.
