“Sleep” is another impressive track from Plum, the Canadian dream-pop act who showed entrancing stylistic form on the track “Division” in February. Nocturnal guitar jangles and a brooding synth arp comprise the initial sound, again conjuring vibes reminiscent of Twin Peaks. The jangles halt at points, with the caressing vocals leading in hypnotic form. Plum’s second single, “Sleep”, shows the project continuing to excel with both haunting jangly soundscapes and gripping vocals.
