Thunderous waves of guitar and flickering synths kick off “Standalone Syndrome”, a new track from European act Sinoptik, who have toured extensively and shared the stage wit hthe likes of Marilyn Manson and Within Temptation. Forming in Donetsk in 2011, their spirit “forged by the war in Eastern Ukraine”, the band has went on to win numerous awards. “Standalone Syndrome” is their newest entry, with melodic vocals proceeding in an art-rock fashion until the two-minute mark, when a developing instrumental emphasis on the percussion and guitars impress. The vocals and general instrumental presence increase in intensity in the second half, helping finish off a track with ample energy and rock-forward charisma.
