Nashville-based rock quartet Champion Electric showcase a dreamy sound on new track “Arpej”, the second of a four-part series. The track “showcases one’s struggle with the waves of contentment and consternation,” over a lush melody with a vocal approach reminiscent of dream-pop. Drawing influence from acts such as Young the Giant, Swimm, and Knox Hamilton, as well as their Native Ohio and Michigan upbringing, Champion Electric merge midwest rock mentality with serene coastal vibes as melodies emerge reminiscent of surf-pop and dream-pop.
