“You” touts a cool, jagged post-punk edge to the swanky guitars and vocal delivery initially, leading into a more full-bodied and melodically pleasing delivery around 00:26. This little guitar shuffle is great — as is the alternation between the two vocal deliveries, with the arsenal reminding fondly of Sleater-Kinney. The London-based act, comprised of actress/singer-songwriter Angela Christofilou and guitarist/songwriter Dan Cross, self-released and produced their first album Something Owed in 2016. The group is planning a follow-up EP, as well as a music video release for “You” shortly; it’s currently in post-production, directed by Steve Barron ( Michael Jackson- Billie Jean/ A-ha -Take on Me, Dire Straits – Money for Nothing etc).
